Just a Good Old Fashioned Whisky Sour

Whisky Sour

This cocktail brings back memories of my first drink in a real bar. I wanted to be grown-up and sophisticated (I was 18 years old, legal drinking age back then) so I decided to ask the bartender to make me a whisky sour. It was the late 70's, and this drink was very popular back then.

Autumn Moonshine

Autumn Moonshine

I love to create cocktails that fit the season! This one hits all the marks of Fall with the flavors of pumpkin, cinnamon, apple, orange and maple! Topping it off with a little beer just gives it some fizz with a casual flair!

Island Dream Cocktail

Island Dream Cocktail

My inspiration for this new cocktail creation came from this recipe *here*. I first saw the recipe on Pinterest. I was looking for a good way to use up a banana and some coconut milk. This seemed to be a great way to do that! I didn't have all the ingredients for that recipe, so I improvised! I was very happy with the results!

This is a creamy and light drink that reminds me of the kind of cocktail you would have while on vacation in the tropics!

A Cocktail That Will Knock You On Your Tail!

I was looking for a drink that was sweet and fruity but also a little unique! I didn't have a large selection of liquors in my cabinet. So I decided to create a drink with what I had on hand! That's how the 'Italian Cherry Bomb' was created! This drink will go down sooooo smoothly...but will definitely sneak up on you! So be careful!

Italian Cherry Bomb Cocktail
INGREDIENTS:
1 shot Galliano liquor
1 shot Amaretto liquor
1/2 shot Maraschino jarred cherry juice
1/2 shot sparkling water
1 Maraschino cherry - garnish
 1 cup crushed ice

DIRECTIONS:
Put crushed ice in a cocktail shaker.
Add Galliano, Amaretto, cherry juice and sparkling water.
Shake, shake, shake and pour into martini glass or other stemware.
Throw in a maraschino cherry.
Serve immediately!

My Favorite Cocktail - Homemade!

Red Apple Martini
Red Apple Martini

I just love Red Apple Martinis!!! It's so hard to find a bartender that really knows how to make one correctly!

Well, a few years ago I was out to lunch with my husband at this cute little seaside restaurant...it was a very casual place! The kind of place that you just drive up to in your boat! Flip flops and a T-shirt is the usual attire!

We walked in and sat down at the bar.
