I've been doing this since 2008. I try 3-4 new recipes every week! This blog will be my diary of all the best recipes I've tried...Plus some of my own! I also love to try great food products and equipment! If you would like for me to review a food product or food appliance, please contact me! <span style="color: black; font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">I love these kinds of cool recipes! It's a new spin on a classic Fritatta...which is basically a huge egg omelette. But this recipe takes it a step further by adding crinkle cut fries on top and letting it finish cooking in the oven. It was delicious...and fun to make and serve. Creating the starburst design on top with the fries was very therapeutic...maybe it's just me, but I enjoyed that step. Here's how I this is made...
<span style="color: black; font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">This recipe was just what I hoped it would be...easy and delicious! This tasted just like a meal I would get from my local Chinese restaurant...but made with simple ingredients from the grocery store. I found this recipe on the McCormick spice website. I tweaked it slightly to give it more sesame flavor...plus I doubled it to make 4 healthy sized portions. I served it over white rice. This yummy meal was done in less than an hour from prep to plate. I'll be making this often!

<span style="color: black; font-family: Georgia, "Times New Roman", serif;">I just love creative Halloween treats! These are white chocolate coated mini pretzels with mini chocolate chips for the eyes! I saw a similar idea as this one but it was for pretzel pumpkins! Just use orange colored melting chocolate and use a green M & M candy, at the top, for a stem. See that recipe here. These pork chops are stuffed with broccoli, onions, garlic, bacon bits and hash brown potatoes that are sauteed in a little butter. Then they're pulsed a few times in the food processor and stuffed into the pork chops. The pork chops are then pan seared and finish cooking in the oven. Before serving they are topped with a light creamy cheese sauce.
<span style="font-family: Georgia, "Times New Roman", serif;">The first time I ever tried Hawaiian Chicken was at a catered party many, many years ago. It was love at first bite! Since then I was on a journey to find that same delicious meal in restaurants. I would order Hawaiian Chicken whenever I saw it on the menu...but most times I ended up disappointed. The meal was either too sour or too tangy or too sweet. I finally stopped wasting my money on bad Hawaiian Chicken.
<span style="color: black; font-family: Georgia, "Times New Roman", serif;">This is my recipe for Tortellini Salad. I make it often for family gatherings. There is usually never any leftovers! I always use dried tortellini pasta...never frozen because the frozen kind are too gummy when cooked. And grocery stores don't usually have much choice of fillings for the frozen variety. For this recipe I always use spinach/cheese filled and 3 cheese filled. This really makes a huge difference in the taste of this salad. And I always use my own homemade dressing because it's simple and light, which lets the flavor of the other ingredients shine through. I hope you'll give my recipe a try!
