This delicious and unique bread is a recipe that I tried from my food friend named Lori McLain. She submitted this recipe into a food contest a few years ago. It's a definite winner in my book!
This tasty little loaf is called 'Sweet-n-Salty Topped Oatmeal Bread'. Perfect with a cup of coffee or tea! I made it as written except I tripled the brown sugar in the topping! I love the nutty flavor from the oats and the buttery, salty, crunchy topping! I will be making this often! Thank you Lori for this wonderful sweet bread recipe.

Oh man! I am so happy you tried this ! It is so easy, even I can make it..ha ha I sneek extra sugar in there too...I made one this morning with oatbran instead of oats ...and it came out fine...made it in a regular loaf pan just in case!

I think yours looked better than mine! I love the loaf pan idea because then it will be higher! I can't stop eating this! I just had my 3rd piece with a cup of coffee! =)
