Chinese Turnovers

Chinese Turnovers

Made with egg roll wrappers and canned fruit pie filling! Ready in less than 20 minutes!

I came up with this super quick and easy dessert because I had some leftover egg roll wrappers and pie filling that needed to be used. I made my turnovers using a mixture of apple and blueberry pie filling, but use whatever you like. My family gobbled these up as fast as I made them!

INGREDIENTS:
canned pie filling - any kind
egg roll wrappers
powdered sugar - for dusting on top

DIRECTIONS:
Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
Place a couple of tablespoons of pie filling in the center of each egg roll wrapper.
Wet the outer edges of the egg roll wrapper.
Fold the wrapper in half, over the filling, to form a triangle.
Press the wet edges together to seal.
Place the filled wrappers on a parchment lined cookie sheet and bake for 10 - 15 minutes or until golden brown.
Remove from oven and dust with powdered sugar. Serve warm.
