Smoky Spicy Turkey Burger with Caramelized Onions and Spicy Sweet Mayo

Smoky Spicy Turkey Burger with Caramelized Onions and Spicy Sweet Mayo

I'm loving my new non stick grill pan! It sizzles from edge to edge even though the pan is way bigger than the burner on my glass top stove. Check out that pan **here** and get one for yourself while they're 40% off! I've been grilling up lots of stuff lately, like these oh so yummy, turkey burgers! I've been making these once a week, as requested by my family! Yes, we are hooked on these juicy, smoky, slightly spicy burgers! These burgers are topped with caramelized onions (also grilled in this pan) and a spicy/sweet mayo. We practically inhaled these! I've never been much of a 'ground turkey' fan, but when it's mixed together with such tasty ingredients, as in this recipe, the flavor is totally transformed from bland to bold and delicious!

This recipe is from a fellow food blogger named
 Michele from Flavor Mosaic.
Michele is also known as 'Occasional Cooker'. Her recipe is published on Allrecipes.com.
I doubled her recipe to make 8 burgers.
And I tweaked her mayo recipe because I didn't have the same ingredients she listed.
It all worked out perfectly because my family was giving me thumbs up while they were devouring these burgers! You may remember another one of Michele's burgers that I tried and LOVED, in this post called Grilled Asian Burgers. It is also one of my family's favorite burgers! Michele is my 'Burger Queen'!
Try one of her burgers and you'll be hooked too!
I'm writing the recipe as I made it...

Put burgers on the buns and top with the caramelized onions and the spicy/sweet mayo sauce.
