A Cool Way to Make Baked Potatoes!

Roasted Fan Shaped Potatoes aka Hasselback Potatoes
The recipe caught my eye because of the photo! I love to find new ways to make potatoes and this definitely looked like something new! The recipe is called 'Roasted Fan Shaped Potatoes'...*click here* to see recipe. Also known as 'Hasselback Potatoes'. These potatoes are seasoned with salt, butter and grated parmesan cheese! I also added garlic powder! It's easy to make! The hardest part is thin slicing the potato without cutting all the way through the potato! But other members who reviewed the recipe shared their secret for making that a breeze to do! Here is my photo of that secret...
Roasted Fan Shaped Potatoes aka Hasselback PotatoesAll you need to do is place the potato between two wooden spoons! The spoons become your guide so that you don't slice completely through the potato! So easy!!! I served mine with a sprinkle of fresh chopped chives and some sour cream on the side, as you can see in my photo above!

  1. Love this! I add some chicken broth to the bottom of the pan and baste it during cooking.

    1. Thats a great idea! I basted it with butter, but your way is less fattening! I'll have to try that! =)
