A Great Giveaway!!!

As I mentioned in this blog post, My 15 Minutes of Fame! I will be giving away a bunch (18 packs) of McCormick Gourmet Seasoning Mixes *click here* to see the selection! But I never imagined how many spice packets the McCormick people would send!
They were VERY generous, as you can see in my photo! They actually sent double of what is shown in the photo...so I'll be doing another giveaway in the near future! They also included those nice measuring spoons! So one lucky reader will be receiving this nice prize! You will be able to create MANY delicious meals for you or your family with these gourmet spice mixes and a few common ingredients!

  4. I love Thyme! I use it alot!
    A helpful hint to those that don't know...
    *When using dried spices, like the leafy/twiggy type, ei - thyme, rosemary, oregano, rub it between your fingers before adding to your dish, for the ultimate flavor boost! :o)

    1. My favorite McCormick seasoning is several of them. I use the butter & mesquite in my jerky. I use the whole black pepper in my pickled fish. I know I use several others of theirs but these 2 come to mind first. I hope I win, but good luck to everyone!

  7. I use TONS of McCormick spices, spice blends, and sauce mixes.

    My favorite would have to be mixing just a pinch of the mequite with another one cannot recall the name of at the moment on my steaks :D Delish!

  14. The Dried Oregano. I find ways to use Oregano in almost everything! I love the Organic line of McCormick Spices. I have been starting to use Ground Coriander Seed more and more. Let me know if you have any recipes that feature it!
