Caramel Apple Cinnamon Nachos
INGREDIENTS;
5 flour tortillas
2 granny smith apples
cinnamon
sugar
caramel sauce, jarred or homemade
DIRECTIONS;
Preheat oven 350 degrees F. Cut tortillas into wedges and put on a baking pan. Spray with fat free cooking spray or water and sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar.
Bake until crisp, 3-5 minutes.
Peel, core, and grate apples. Generously sprinkle apples onto tortillas and drizzle caramel sauce all over.
(there really aren't exact amounts just "eyeball" everything to your own personal tastes...hope you enjoy!)

DeleteDon't the apples turn brown? Looks good but my "Grands" won't eat brown apples!
ReplyDeleteThis gets gobbled up so fast that the apples don't get a chance to turn brown...lol! But you could always just soak the grated apples in some water with a slash of lemon juice. Then drain and use them in the recipe. I hope you'll try it! =D
