I recently had a huge cannoli craving, so I decided to make a quick recipe that I knew would satisfy me! I used my recipe for Cannoli Cream Dessert and tweaked it to make that recipe into a dip.
This was so quick to make...only took about 10 minutes for me to be in cannoli heaven!
I served my Cannoli Dip with graham crackers! I was a very happy camper!
Holy Cannoli! This look SO good! Gotta put this dip on my "To Try" list! Thanks for sharing Lillian!
ReplyDeleteLOL! I hope you will! It's so good and easy too! Thanks for checking it out! Come back and tell me what you think of it! =)
DeleteThis is BRILLIANT! I love cannolis but only the ones from a good Italian bakery, not from my local grocery store. And I'm not much for making pastries. The result is that I don't get to have them very often. With this, I could have them anytime. Ummm...could be dangerous!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much Christine! You made my day! Yes, I know what you mean about making pastries! I'm not very skilled in that area, so this is my way of cheating! And yes...lol...very dangerous! But the part skim ricotta helps me not feel too guilty about eating way too much of this dip! =)
DeleteHi Lilian,
ReplyDeleteLove your deconstructed version of cannoli. This will be great for entertaining.
Nice to know you via blogging. Hope to hear from you soon. Following you at your pinterest.

DeleteLooks yummy have to try it, do you use it for dip only or can we use it for a regular connoli or do you have another recipie?
ReplyDeleteThank you so much! I only use this as a dip but I can't see why this couldn't be used to fill cannoli shells! I hope you'll try it and let me know! =D

DeleteIF YOU WANTED TO ADD COCOA TO MAKE CHOCOLATE CANNOLI DIP,
ReplyDeleteHOW MUCH DO YOU SUPPOSE YOU WOULD HAVE TO ADD?
Oh I love that idea! I would try a tablespoon at a time and taste it. Then just add more if needed. Please comeback and let me know how you liked it...thanks! =D
